dimensions of the plug approved in Brazil are identical with those of
the 10 A plug used in Italy. Even the pin diameter of 4 mm is
absolutely identical. The only difference is that the plug has been
approved for Brazil by Inmetro. Years ago, several different plug
systems were used in these countries, e.g. the UL/CSA plug system.
Meanwhile, Brazilian authorities demand a Brazilian symbol.
For voltages between 6 and 16 A, the plug shown on page 29 may be used instead.
The lead types and cross-sections comply with the HAR regulations.
